Job Duties

  • Identify potential customers.
  • Select products, systems, and services based on customer requirements, site conditions, and pricing factors.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of TraVek Remodeling & Roofing’s services and pricing structure.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, contracts, or presentations for customers.
  • Negotiate contracts and address customer questions and concerns.
  • Manage the sales pipeline using Profit Finder Pro (CRM), updating information regularly.
  • Provide management with daily and weekly sales updates.
  • Meet or exceed new business sales goals.
  • Submit a complete Scope of Work and Job File for each project.
  • Maintain excellent customer service and reviews.
  • Actively solicit previous customer, referral, and self-generated leads.
  • Attend weekly sales training and meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills Needed to Be Successful

  • Sales experience required; roofing sales preferred (foam, tile, or shingle).
  • Customer service experience — ability to assess needs, meet quality standards, and ensure satisfaction.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional presentation and communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability for both customer and company benefit.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to perform additional tasks as required by department or role.
  • Ability to safely set up and climb ladders.

Education and Experience Required

High school diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years of roofing sales experience; production experience preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

Occasional lifting of 50 lbs or more, standing and sitting at a computer, and climbing roofs for measurements.
