Job Duties
- Identify potential customers.
- Select products, systems, and services based on customer requirements, site conditions, and pricing factors.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of TraVek Remodeling & Roofing’s services and pricing structure.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, contracts, or presentations for customers.
- Negotiate contracts and address customer questions and concerns.
- Manage the sales pipeline using Profit Finder Pro (CRM), updating information regularly.
- Provide management with daily and weekly sales updates.
- Meet or exceed new business sales goals.
- Submit a complete Scope of Work and Job File for each project.
- Maintain excellent customer service and reviews.
- Actively solicit previous customer, referral, and self-generated leads.
- Attend weekly sales training and meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills Needed to Be Successful
- Sales experience required; roofing sales preferred (foam, tile, or shingle).
- Customer service experience — ability to assess needs, meet quality standards, and ensure satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Professional presentation and communication.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability for both customer and company benefit.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform additional tasks as required by department or role.
- Ability to safely set up and climb ladders.
Education and Experience Required
High school diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years of roofing sales experience; production experience preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
Occasional lifting of 50 lbs or more, standing and sitting at a computer, and climbing roofs for measurements.
